• Gray Horse Trading Co. - Horse Books - These are general categories about horses. For those who are looking for books more specific to our needs, go to Horse Racing Books - Another link from Gray Horse Trading Co. They have the best list of books and videos associated with horses and horse racing that I've been able to find. Horse Book List - This isn't even their complete list of books but it is an excellent list offered by Gray Horse Trading Co. This list also includes their videos. Books I recommend highly are, The entire collection of the Thoroughbred Legends books, Wire To Wire: The Walter Merrick Story by Frank Holmes, The X Factor by Marianna Haun - what it is and how to find it. If you like to study the histories I suggest, Etched In Stone by Lucy Zeh, Faraway Horses and Believe: A Horseman's Journey, both of these are by Buck Brannaman. My all time personal favorite book is 'Ruffian - Burning From The Start by Jane Schwartz'. I'll warn you, it is a tear jerker, but an honest and accurate account of the great record breaking filly Ruffian. Well researched, keep your hanky handy, or box of Kleenex. You'll need 'em.

• Seabiscuit, An American Legend, by Laura Hillenbrand - A beautifully designed web site from Victoria Keith,(editor, Thoroughbred Champions) tells of the book, and movie of this great champion. What I enjoyed, more than any other I've ever visited was the Guestbook, which include many interesting, and informative entries. Worth the wait it takes to load.
• Equine Research Inc. - Excellent source, for checking out horse health issues, and other pertinent information.
